Hi there! If you haven't already seen my pictures you should do so!
I graduated from St. Xavier High School in 1988 and went directly to Earlham College. Where's Earlham? you ask; well you are not alone. Earlham is located in Richmond, Indiana, off of I70. It is a small Quaker college with about 1200 students. While I was there I studied Math and Spanish. After I graduated from EC I went back to Spain (having gone there two years earlier with Earlham's Abroad Program) for two months.
I hung around Cincy for another year as I waited for Peace Corps to get back to me. They finally did in December of 1993 and six months later I found myself in Benin, West Africa! I spent the next two years teaching Mathematics in the relatively large town Bohicon.
After returning in July, 1996, I tutored and substitute taught at The Seven Hills Schools and at Sylvan Learning Center, before teaching Spanish at Purcell Marian High School in Cincinnati, Ohio.
In the Fall of 1999, I decided on a career change and entered into the computer realm. I started at the Help Desk at Standard Textile Co., Inc., and was quickly promoted to Network Administrator, a position I held until Christmas, 2001.
I have spent most of 2002 applying to the Foreign Service and waiting for them to complete their Medical and Security clearances before moving away for the great unknown, only to be denied due to medical reasons at the very end of the whole process.
While waiting for the Foreign Service I was working as a Network Administrator and instructor at Antonelli College in downtown Cincinnati.
Since January 2003, I have been working for Digital Controls as part of their Technology Services Group. I am a Network Engineer working as a civilian contractor in Tracy, California, at the Defense Depot.
I am now married! :) Myriam and I celebrated our wedding on 17 July 2004, surrounded by family and friends in her family's back yard in Montferrat, France.
